Ulvik Folklore
- traditional song, dance & music from Hardanger

Ulvik Folklore was founded in 1984 as a project offering summerjobs
to youngsters in Ulvik, and the present members are the "third generation"
of dancers, singers and fiddlers.

The present members are all between 13 and 20 years old, and live in Ulvik
and Granvin.  In their programme do they present traditional norwegian folkmusic,
folksongs and dance, mainly from the Hardanger area, but also from other areas
in Norway.
Despite their young age, are they well experienced as singers, dancers and musicians,
since they have been practising their skills since they were 6-7 years old.

You can experience the group live at Elvatun, the village hall in Ulvik
every Monday at 21.00 hrs throughout the summerseason, but they are
more than willing to travel to other parts of the Hardanger area and Voss,
if required.
